Road Race Engineering built this second block for me to replace the cracked block that you can view on the other page. After installing the new block, it seems that when the motor was assembled, all four oil squirters were only hand tightened.

 

All 4 squirters were sitting on the bottom of the oil pan, which caused a complete loss in oil pressure.  Crankshaft, rods and rod bearing failure. Basically the shortblock with 50 miles on it is toast. Take a look at the leftovers of the squirters and the chewed up rod bearings.
